A distribution center in Irondale, AL was in need of some pallet racking for their distribution center. Trammell Equipment provided them with a narrow aisle, wire guided, pallet racking system to maximize their space and get the most storage possible. Ridg-U-Rak Teardrop Pallet Rack was used with red uprights and grey beams. Along with Steel King Guard Rail at the end of aisle to protect the pallet rack from being damaged by the forklift.
We successfully designed the layout, permitted the project, and installed the equipment according to the customers timeline. WireCrafters Wire Partitioning was also used as a receiving cage for truck drivers as well as a barrier between the pallet rack and a pedestrian aisle. Carron netting was used on the back of a row of rack to provide safety for pedestrians as well.
